Christmas Trail
19 November-23 December, 10.30am-3.30pm

£1

This is a self-guided trail; Santa and his elves are celebrating the 12 days of Christmas at the North Pole, but as they came through the park they lost all their directions. Following clues, find your way through the park to the mill and collect your chocolate reward. This trail does cross grassy areas.
Parking charges apply. One leaflet=one chocolate

Santa’s Grotto
19 November-23 December, 11am-4pm

£5

Come and enjoy the Magic of Christmas with a visit to Santa Claus. Includes a visit with Santa and a small gift. Weekends only until 18 December then Monday to Friday from 19-23 December.
Parking charges apply. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Last entry 3.45pm.

A Children’s Tale
10 December, 4.30pm-6.30pm, £5

An evening of magic in Rufford’s woodland hideaway. Come and listen to the old man of the woods whilst he tells you a tale full of Christmas spirit.
Event involves a short walk into the woodland, please dress warmly with suitable footwear and bring a torch. Not suitable for people with mobility issues. Not suitable for under 4s.

Hucknall and Linby brass band
11 December, 2pm-4pm

Hucknall and Linby brass band will be returning to Rufford’s courtyards this December after their successful summer performance. They will be playing a host of sensational music to get visitors in the mood for Christmas.

Paul Temple will be entertaining all those waiting to see Santa.

QM Barbershop Quartet
18 December, 2pm-4pm

This male barbershop quartet are becoming a regular feature on Rufford’s Christmas calendar. Now in their third year they will be musically setting the scene as The Big Day draws near.

Freddie proved very popular at last year’s grotto with his particular brand of magic and amusing tales so he is back again this year to entertain you while you wait to see Santa down at his grotto.

Rufford Abby Ghost Tour
20 December, 7.45pm-10.30pm, £10

With Christmas on the horizon come and join the Northern Ghost Research and Investigation Team – UK (NGRIT) said: “Rufford Abbey is one of our favourite locations for research, it is extremely paranormally active and one of the most fascinating sites we regularly like to investigate, we are delighted to be hosting another ghost walk here.
Participants must be 16 years and over. This event is not suitable for wheel chairs or people with mobility issues. Please wear sensible shoes or boots and warm clothing as the event takes place outside.
